Saaga is the Programme Manager for Global Engagement and Impact (secondment) for the Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme, where she oversees the lifelong fellowship strategy and programming. Her overarching aim is to ensure that AFSEE Senior Fellows are strongly connected to each other, the AFSEE programme, and the wider Atlantic community and have access to continuous learning. 

Previously, Saaga was the communications and marketing officer for the AFSEE programme, leading on the development and delivery of communications and marketing strategies and activities to promote the Fellowship programme and the work of AFSEE Fellows. This included updating the AFSEE website, commissioning and editing blogs, identifying and managing content for social media and newsletters, managing the logistics and marketing of AFSEE events, and planning and executing marketing and outreach activities for the fellowship.

Prior to joining the AFSEE team, Saaga worked as a Communications Assistant at the International Inequalities Institute and as a Centre Assistant at the LSE United States Centre. She has also worked as an Events Intern at the United Nations Association – UK, and as a Political and Economic Intern at the U.S Embassy in Helsinki.

Saaga has an undergraduate degree in War Studies from King´s College London and a master's degree in Conflict Studies from LSE.
