Saaga is the communications and marketing lead for the Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme. She is in charge of the development and delivery of communications and marketing strategies and activities to promote the Fellowship programme and the work of AFSEE Fellows. This includes updating the AFSEE website, commissioning and editing blogs, identifying and managing content for social media and newsletters, managing the logistics and marketing of AFSEE events, and planning and executing marketing and outreach activities for the fellowship.
Prior to joining the AFSEE team, Saaga worked as a Communications Assistant at the International Inequalities Institute and as a Centre Assistant at the LSE United States Centre. She has also worked as an Events Intern at the United Nations Association – UK, and as a Political and Economic Intern at the U.S Embassy in Helsinki.
Saaga has an undergraduate degree in War Studies from King´s College London and a master's degree in Conflict Studies from LSE. .
