This research project aims to examine the impact of far right rhetoric and action in Ireland, with a focus on the use of ‘wedge issues’ like migration to foster fear and division among people in order to enrich and empower those at the top. It will explore ways to identify, engage with, and disseminate powerful counter narratives to anti-migration rhetoric, drawing on the experiences of women who have emigrated to Ireland, to tell a new story of who the people living in Ireland really are - exploring the universality and nuances of the migrant experience.
